Allen Vanguard’s CASCAD blast suppressant foam and enclosure systems are an ideal Counter-IED (C-IED) solution for bomb disposal technicians to contain the CBRN threats of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). They are particularly useful for reducing the risk of downwind contamination or in locations where damage is unacceptable, such as buildings of high cultural or historical importance. Each blast suppressant foam and tent system helps suppress the blast, neutralize any Chemical and Biological (C/B) agents and encapsulate Radiological particles. Using a ballistic blanket over the tent provides an extra blast protection barrier.
