HAL Hook and Line Access Kit (AK)
The HAL Hook and Line Access Kit provides Bomb Disposal Technicians with a set of 15 unique and modular components and specialty clamps used either individually or in unison. They integrate with the HAL General Service (GS) and HAL GS Lite kits to remotely manipulate a wide variety of mechanisms and handles found in vehicles, houses, and industrial facilities to facilitate the entry and search of suspect vehicles and buildings.

The HAL Hook and Line Building Kit contains special tools for remotely opening building doors and providing anchor points for lines and pulleys. The Building Kit tools integrate with the HAL General Service (GS) and HAL GS Lite kits to assist with building access and clearance tasks, and are simple to operate and can be deployed in seconds. Its unique components include: Building Remote Door Opener; Doorway Anchor; Building Door Hinge Anchor; Multi-Purpose Clamp.
