Counter-IED Training Boards (Aid Devices)
The Allen-Vanguard range of Training Board aid devices are designed to educate military, police and security personnel in the composition, construction and operation of improvised explosive devices (IED). Mounted onto a rigid board which folds and locks into position for presentation purposes, the Training Boards show all component parts of the IED fully labelled to show construction, circuit flow and operation.
Allen-Vanguard have developed 8 boards and subject to development a further 17 are available. These training boards fall into three main categories of IEDs including Time-Operated, Victim-Operated and Command-Operated. All are provided in a rugged peli-case, and a large peli-case can be purchased to hold 8 at a time to make transportation easier.
